Lunchtime Policy Briefings

WOMEN'S WAY recently launched Lunchtime Policy Briefings, a bi-annual call series that raises awareness about the issues we tackle, initatiates a dialogue, and provides a forum for participants to get involved. During these briefings, the WOMEN'S WAY Public Policy Team breaks down the complex issues affecting women and girls in the region, and mobilizes participants into action.

On Thursday, July 12, 2012, WOMEN'S WAY hosted its second WOMEN'S WAY Lunchtime Policy Briefing - The Impact of the Supreme Court Decision on Women's Health. On the call, WOMEN'S WAY's Director of Public Policy, Rebecca Foley, discussed how the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act will impact the health of women and their families.

Stay tuned for info on our next Lunchtime Policy Briefing, scheduled for January 2013!
