The Women’s Issues Summit is one of the key ways that WOMEN’S WAY acts as a hub for those working on the front lines of social change. This annual think tank gives nonprofits around the region a chance to step out of the day-to-day inner workings of their programs and visualize the big picture, as it affects women, girls, and families. By convening change agents from all around the region, we ensure that our work is in line with needs of the communities we serve. The results of the discussion from the Summit are folded into our advocacy and public education programming, and help form the annual funding priorities of our Community Women’s Fund.
The 2014 Women's Issues Summit's findings have been compiled into a report, which outlines the details of the group discussions. WOMEN’S WAY intends for the document to be used by nonprofits, community members, funders, and policy makers and allow for better understanding of the emerging issues that need to be addressed within the framework of women and girls in our region.
