In the latest installment of the Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum series, our panelists discussed guaranteed income and shared insights into the successes and barriers of implementing guaranteed income programs. This thought-provoking conversation also explored dominant narratives surrounding poverty and racial capitalism such as deservedness and meritocracy, underscoring how these negative narratives perpetuate inequality and ignore systemic oppression.
