Mayoral Candidate Forum Recap: Sparking Conversations on Women’s Issues

On April 26th, in person and via live stream, WOMEN’S WAY, The Forum of Executive Women, The League of Women Voters of Philadelphia, and Every Voice, Every Vote hosted: Sparking Conversations on Women’s Issues: A Mayoral Candidate Forum.

This forum was an opportunity to hear from mayoral candidates in advance of the upcoming municipal primaries about issues that most impact women and girls in the City of Philadelphia:

“The City of Brotherly Love is a majority female city – 53% of our residents identify as female – and so we are eager to hear how our next mayor plans to address the issues that have a disproportionate effect on women: safety, women in leadership, reproductive justice, and economic security.”

Of the candidates that were invited, Cherelle Parker and Rebecca Rhynhart joined for this critically important conversation.

Many thanks to Temple University for providing a space in the Liacouras Center and providing support throughout this event!
