WOMEN’S WAY GIVES IMMEDIATE RESPONSE ACTION FUND GRANT

WOMEN’S WAY is pleased to give the latest Immediate Response Action Fund grant to Advocates for Homeless & Those in Need (AHTN) to address the unanticipated loss of a major source of funding.  The $7,500 grant award will enable them to continue serving women and families in need of emergency help. From receiving the completed grant application to approving and disbursing the award, WOMEN’S WAY was able to leverage funds from the Immediate Response Action Fund in 10 business days!

From Penny Martin, Board President: “The IRAF grant from Women’s Way will help Advocates for Homeless & Those in Need (AHTN) to continue to provide many life sustaining services to women and their families.  They may receive help with temporary or permanent housing, gas, car maintenance or repairs, food, clothing, rides or documents necessary to move forward to improve their lives.  AHTN is able to provide a variety of services that may not be offered elsewhere.  With this grant, many lives will be impacted and improved.”
