On May 22nd, 2024, WOMEN’S WAY hosted its 46th Annual Celebration: Equity Champions Unite at the stunning Crystal Team Room. This year’s signature event was an unforgettable evening filled with inspiration, solidarity, and community spirit. With a revamped program and a fresh venue, we brought together 420 passionate community leaders, activists, funders, and professionals from across the region. Together, we celebrated our collective achievements and rallied to raise critical funds to support the mission of WOMEN’S WAY.

We are thrilled to announce that we exceeded our fundraising goal, raising $351,000 thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our corporate sponsors, tribute committee, and individual donors. This vital funding will bolster our efforts to advance gender and racial equity in the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond.

Evening Highlights

The 46th Annual Celebration kicked off with empowering opening remarks from WOMEN'S WAY Chief Disruptor Diane Cornman-Levy and Board Chair Myra Brown.

This year's theme, Equity Champions Unite, highlighted the remarkable progress we make when we champion equity and inclusivity together. Jennifer Rice, our 2024 Gender Equity Champion, graciously accepted her award and shared her inspiring journey and commitment to equity.

Corporate Ally Honorees, Working for Women and ZS, were recognized for their extraordinary dedication to WOMEN'S WAY's mission. Their unwavering commitment has significantly advanced our goals and vision. Listen to Beth Bengtson, Working for Women Founder and CEO, and Paul Hashemi, Managing Principal at ZS's Philadelphia office, jointly accept the Corporate Ally Award.

Lucretia Mott Award Recipients, Christen Press and Tobin Heath—2x World Cup Champions, Pay Equity Trailblazers, and Co-Founders and CEOs of RE–INC—were honored for their tireless efforts to advance gender and racial equity, both on and off the field. The award was presented by Carly Nájera and Renee Washington, adding an extra layer of inspiration.

We are immensely grateful to each partner, sponsor, volunteer, and friend of WOMEN'S WAY who joined us for this celebration. Your support and enthusiasm uplifted this year’s theme, Equity Champions Unite, and celebrated our incredible honorees. Together, we are forging a path towards a more equitable future. Thank you for being a part of this extraordinary evening.
