International Women’s Day
WOMEN’S WAY was recognized as a leader in advancing gender equity in Philadelphia! As part of a new resolution by the City of Philadelphia recognizing Monday, March 8, 2021 as International Women’s Way, WOMEN’S WAY has been highlighted as a leader building a movement toward achieving gender equity in Philadelphia and setting a national and global example of campaigning for positive change.
Sing Out Loud Award
WOAR honored WOMEN’S WAY with the Sing Out Loud: Singing for Survival Award for their work in supporting survivors of gender-based violence. The award was presented during WOAR’s Virtual Event, Sing Out Loud, on April 22nd at 6:00 pm. The award is in support of the event’s theme of “shattering the silence often surrounding sexual violence by uplifting and using your voice;” diverse & distinct voices and perspectives need to be represented; and equity achieved through the community. The Domestic Violence Center of Chester County honored WOMEN’S WAY with the Community Partner Award in honor of their All That’s Purple: 45 Years of Empowerment Virtual Gala!
The Philanthropist and Legacy Building Award
