About This Event:
In honor of Mother's Day, WOMEN'S WAY and HIAS Pennsylvania are presenting a screening of "Under the Same Moon"
Join Women's Way and HIAS Pennsylvania to watch the film Under the Same Moon, following a boy named Carlitos journeying through Mexico and across the U.S. to reunite with his mother.
There are tens of thousands of children just like Carlitos who have come to the U.S. each year to reunite with their parents and escape gang violence and rape.
Stay for a panel discussion on the topic and to talk with a young guest speaker who made it to the U.S. on his own and the mother he was determined to join.
