HONOREES
Lucretia Mott Honoree: Ruth Shaber, MD
Changemaker, Innovator, Author of The XX Edge: Unlocking Higher Returns and Lower Risk
Ruth Shaber, MD, is a changemaker and innovator, moving from a 25-year career as an OBGYN and senior executive at Kaiser Permanente to empowering women across finance and healthcare. She is the founder and president of Tara Health Foundation, a philanthropic investment group that uses evidence-informed programs to promote women's well-being and opportunities. She is also the co-founder and board chair of Rhia Ventures, a collective of foundations and investors committed to bringing new types of capital to the reproductive health field. She recently co-published a book, The XX Edge: Unlocking Higher Returns and Lower Risk, which uncovers the evidence that when women are in control of capital, both financial and social returns are stronger and organizational risks are diminished.

Gender Equity Champion Award: Cynthia Ritter
Cynthia Ritter is a dedicated advocate for women's rights and gender equity, with a long history of leadership and mentorship. Her commitment spans corporate initiatives, nonprofit leadership, executive mentoring, coaching, and authorship. In addition, she has been a vocal supporter of WOMEN’S WAY, serving six years on the Board of Directors, including three as Chair, and continues to contribute through the Finance and HR Committees. Entertainment: Trumpet Chics
Trumpet Chics consist of a group of talented students from Camden. The energetic group show off their instrumental skills while setting their tunes to upbeat choreography that encourages everyone to dance along. With trumpet, trombone, and saxophone taking center stage, the Trumpet Chics provide their own brassy renditions of popular songs.
