On May 21st, 2025, WOMEN’S WAY welcomed close to 400 changemakers, advocates, and supporters to the stunning Crystal Tea Room for our 47th Annual Celebration: Designing a Future for All. Together, we honored bold leadership, shared powerful calls to action, and invested in a vision where security, dignity, freedom, and joy are available to all. With powerful speeches, joyful connection, and moving moments of solidarity, the evening served as a reminder that change is both possible and already in motion.

Evening Highlights

The evening began with an energizing performance from Camden's Trumpet Chics, setting the tone for a night of energy, inspiration, and community.

WOMEN’S WAY Board Chair Myra Brown welcomed attendees, followed by a powerful address from Chief Disruptor Diane Cornman-Levy, who laid out five critical calls to action for building lasting systemic change.

We proudly honored three extraordinary changemakers whose leadership is helping to reimagine what’s possible: Our Lucretia Mott Honoree, Dr. Ruth Shaber, OBGYN, co-author of The XX Edge, and founder of the Tara Health Foundation, was recognized with our most prestigious honor for her trailblazing work to transform the health and investment sectors with equity at the center. The award was presented by Katherina Rosqueta, founding Executive Director of the Center for High Impact Philanthropy.

Our Gender Equity Champion, Cynthia Ritter, was recognized for her enduring commitment to gender equity and long history of leadership and mentorship. Her award was presented by Alyssa Eimer and Mikayla Gulli, who shared personal reflections on Cynthia’s deep impact.

The Corporate Ally Award was presented to Vanguard, celebrating their efforts to drive long-term financial stability, promote wealth building and economic mobility, and strengthen financial ecosystems in under-resourced communities. This award was accepted by Rashanda Perryman, Senior Manager at Vanguard.
