Learn with us, meet your people, & amplify your voice.
We’re excited to introduce the WOMEN’S WAY Advocacy Community! This new space is open to anyone who wants to fight for a region where people of all genders live with dignity, freedom, and joy.
Building on learnings from the Gender Wealth Summit, the Advocacy Community will focus on the Social Safety Net by advocating for existing programs, new initiatives, and policies that provide fundamental services and financial support for our families and community members.
If you are:
- Concerned, enraged, and/or scared by the news,
- Impacted by funding cuts + policy restrictions to Social Safety Net programs (SNAP, Medicaid, etc.),
- Passionate about gender equity, or
- Looking for like-minded community and a way to fight back
This space is for you.

Starting in January 2026, members of the Advocacy Community will come together for:
- Monthly meetups at the WOMEN’S WAY office,
- Coordinated group trips to nearby public hearings, events, and rallies related to protecting social safety net programs, and
- Hands-on trainings covering key advocacy skillsets like preparing testimony for city hearings, writing an op-ed for news media, art advocacy, and more.
