Join us for an afternoon of reflection and appreciation for the third cohort of Change the Narrative Fellows! We will gather on Thursday, October 19th at 2:00 PM on Community College of Philadelphia’s main campus for a first glance at the Fellows’ completed stories, followed by a panel discussion featuring the Fellows. This event is being held in partnership with CCP's Women's Outreach and Advocacy Center and Love Now Media. All are welcome - please RSVP here.
About the Change the Narrative Fellowship: The Change the Narrative Fellowship trains and empowers women with the lived experience of economic insecurity to share their personal stories through professional-level audio, visual, and print. The purpose of the program is to generate awareness of racial and gender inequities in economic opportunity and spur actions among the public and private sectors that improve economic security in the Philadelphia region. The third fellowship cohort ran from January 2023 through August 2023 during which nine new fellows from Community College of Philadelphia completed the program. Love Now Media, an empathy-centered media company, partnered with WOMEN’S WAY to provide program design and curriculum to reimagine and redesign both future systems and policies through a lens of love.
