WOMEN’S WAY Receives $50,000 Grant from United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey

We are excited to share that WOMEN’S WAY received a $50,000 grant from United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) to support our Gender Wealth Institute and mission-aligned engagement opportunities for United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and SVP Philadelphia supporters.

WOMEN’S WAY will offer United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and SVP supporters educational opportunities through the Gender Wealth Institute’s priority areas of intervention including the Financial Wellness Program, Change the Narrative Fellowship Program, Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum, the Gender Wealth Index Research project, and Phirst Market Ventures.

Participants will learn more about the gender wealth gap, drivers of the gender wealth gap, and actionable steps they can take to help close the gap. Ultimately, the grant from United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey will help WOMEN’S WAY build collective will and action to create an inclusive and equitable economy where all women can thrive.
