The Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Series is back for 2025! Across four virtual events this year, we’ll explore how we can build a future where we all have the stability, care, and opportunities needed to thrive. Each session will spotlight the changemakers and organizations working across key dimensions of the Gender Wealth Framework – a tool developed by WOMEN’S WAY to promote dignity, equity, and joy in our communities. Whether you’re already familiar with the framework or want to learn more about how we can reshape our region’s future and close the gender wealth gap, this series is for you. All events are free, open to the public, and streamed virtually over Zoom.

January 29, 2025: Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum – Stability and Opportunity
True economic stability opens doors to a life of dignity and ease, but what does that really look like? It looks like freedom from exploitative debt, access to good jobs that pay fair wages, and a social safety net that guarantees basic rights—without barriers. Join panelists from Debt Collective, FirstUp, and Women’s Law Project to learn innovative strategies to advance economic stability and opportunity. April 2025: Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum – Health and Healing
When we have access to safe, healing spaces and full health services, we can rest, thrive, and better contribute to our communities. This event will explore the deep connections between health, equity, and healing, and the ways these factors drive gender economic justice. Tune in to hear from panelists about why health truly is wealth.
July 2025: Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum – Resource Navigation and Support
Everyone deserves support without judgment or shame. Accessing important resources – whether housing, childcare, or legal help – shouldn’t be a maze of barriers. This session focuses on how removing those barriers can create greater opportunities for each of us to reach our goals and thrive. Learn from panelists as they discuss practical ways to create systems that work for everyone.
November 2025: Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum – Family and Community Care
Supporting your family and loved ones shouldn’t come at the cost of your job or income. Strong care networks and community-centered solutions are important to create safety, stability, and freedom. Join panelists to learn how we can build systems that prioritize care and connection. Let’s explore what’s possible when families and communities are truly supported.
